GET CONNECTED. GET INVOLVED. BE THE CHANGE. VOLUNTEER.
The United Way in Waukesha County Volunteer Center is excited to announce...
Days of Caring 2010: September 13-24
Days of Caring is an event where corporate volunteer groups throughout Waukesha County will join United Way and local organizations to work on one-time service projects. Participating organizations are matched with volunteers from the community and local businesses who choose to give their time, talents and services to impact our community's needs. This magnificent event will mobilize volunteers who will offer their service to help those in need. It is a great opportunity for agencies to get some extra help from company volunteer groups and to give volunteers a first-hand experience on the important work of our organization.
We invite you to contact the Volunteer Center to participate today!

MY NAME IS TOM.
My wife Doreen and I have lived in Waukesha County for more than 25 years. I’ve recently retired and decided to stay involved by sharing my time and talents as a volunteer–-I care about this community. My volunteer time is spent with the Waukesha Choral Union and the Waukesha County Historical Society & Museum. Do you want to know one of the best volunteer experiences I’ve ever had? …dressing up as a clown for The Great Circus Parade. The gift of my time created smiles and laughter, including my own. Helping others in my community through volunteering…that’s “how I LIVE UNITED.”
